You can also help ease tension between motorists and cyclists by making sure you are riding in the best manner. The SCBC offers Street Safety seminars.

SCBC executive director Christine Culver says, "For years I've been racing or riding bikes for transportation and I thought I was doing it right. Now that I have taken the class, I know how to make it easier for cars to deal with me, and for me to deal with them! I recommend this class to the beginner bike rider to Sonoma County's most experienced racers." Please check our calendars for current the seminar schedules.
