JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Safe Routes to School Bicycle Education Independent Contractor(s)
The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is a non-profit, membership based organization that serves as the voice of transportation and recreational cyclists of Sonoma County, and works to educate the community about bicycle safety and the benefits of cycling, including good health and protecting the environment. We represent interests ranging from employees riding to work, students riding to school, residents running errands and attending events, recreational cyclists out for exercise and fun, and bike tourists enjoying the pleasures of Sonoma County. We work with elected officials and government agencies to make sure that all new road projects or redesigns consider the needs of cyclists. We want riders of all ages to have safe and efficient ways of getting around by bike. Learn more at www.bikesonoma.org.
Safe Routes to Schools (SRTS) is a national and international movement to create safe, convenient, and fun opportunities for children to walk, bicycle, and take transit to and from schools.
