The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is partnering with the City of Santa Rosa Recreation and Parks Department to bring back a fun family event on the Fourth of July at Juilliard Park in Santa Rosa. This event is sponsored by Winzler and Kelly Consulting Engineers and Sprint Copy Center Sebastopol. Their support is much appreciated in making this a wonderful event.

Bicycle Santa Rosa Festival is a celebration of cycling and good family fun.

  • There will be music by St. Peterbilt.
  • Free Valet Bike Parking.
  • Vendors will be on hand with a variety of food and beverages to purchase.
  • Games and contests and bike decorating and a parade for kids.
  • Cruiser Bike Raffle.
  • Many local organizations will have information booths to explore.
  • Rick-shaw bicycle tours.
  • "Joe Cool" Snoopy statues bike tours
  • Self-guided bike or walking tours.
  • Collections of classic and unusual bikes. 

Join us on the City Council Member Bike Ride. This will be a moderately easy ride of 10-15 miles and we hope riders of all ages join us. Children must ride with their parents. Confirmed members include Healdsburg Councilmember Jim Woods, Rohnert Park Vice Mayor Jake Mackenzie & Councilmember Tim Smith, Santa Rosa Vice Mayor Lee Pierce & Councilmembers Susan Gorin and Veronica Jacobi, Sebastopol Councilmember Sarah Gurney & Windsor Councilmembers Debra Fudge and Robin Goble.

The festival is on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the Council Member Bike Ride will begin at 9:00 a.m. This event is free to all.
